Cecelia Chapman (B: San Francisco, California) works in a diverse use of painting, book, film and text. Her film works are experimental documentary and fictional narrative, they focus on her immediate environment and human-made interventions. Works in paper, book and painting explore image and text, line and color. She is a Graphic Design graduate of Parsons School of Design, New York.

The California Printmaker 2000. C.C. Chapman’s cool blue monotype The Blue Pearl (Earth) seems to indicate both atmosphere, coded language and perhaps the fragile globe. Minimalized calligraphs are echoed across the color field.
